New Media is a good way to broadcast one's ideas and inventions  and  new media has influenced many  businesses and organizations helping to change and create new ways of working and collaborating. In article "Twitter Serves Up Ideas From Its Followers" talks how  Twitter  creators are using Twitter users to improve and enhance the social network. "The company watches how people use the service and which ideas catch on. Then its engineers turn the ideas into new features".

Modeling Reality with Virtual Worlds

Virtual Reality is powerful computer technology stimulate a 3D environment  that can transform your sense of presence .  virtual worlds can be used in online game, social networks, educations and business. virtual world can help business  collaboration more efficiency " Going to the virtual office in Second Life " by Mark Tutton, talks how companies use Second Life virtual world for meetings, trainings, and share ideas.  In Virtual world, you can be who you want to be  "In Room 100, It's Sid and Nancy All Over Again," by Saki Knafo, how  people use Second Life virtual world to create   and reenacting certain places that can not affordable  to do in real life.

There are pros and cons of virtual world. one of the pro that it will improve some one's skill without causing any mistake in real world. Virtual world can improve companies productivity.
One of the cons is social isolation because in virtual world we lack of true,  and physical interaction.

In virtual world, you don't have many restrictions therefore any thing you can imagine you can build there. It is a good way to  forester your creativity. In the future virtual worlds it  will become a part of our real life. people can do most of work just log in to the virtual world such as shopping, schooling working and traveling

Facebook: The most users of Facebook are college or high school students.The main features that are available to Facebook users are the Wall, that allows friends to post and share messages, and pictures.One of the key features that Facebook offers is the ability to connect with different members and groups , allowing users to create personalized profiles that reflect their interests and affiliations
Myspace: The website looks more fancy than any other social network site. The main features in MySpace  include the ability to modify and build a user profile such as emoticons to reflect different moods, an “About Me” and “Who I’d Like to Meet” section.
Twitter: In Twitter you don't have friend list , you follow your friend or friend follow you .Twitter only allow 140 characters  for each message. Twitter is more like a B2B and B2C social network site. people follow news, international events and  jobs .
Linkedin: A professional social network is focusing on B2B and B2C.Your profile is base on your educations and  Job experiences. On LinkedIn, the people who are part of your network are called your "connections." A connection on LinkedIn is a trusted business contact not like friend  on other social network.

 Social networks serve different purpose for different people and are commonly classified as either personal like Facebook and Twitter or professional networks that include LinkedIn being the most popular professional site since 2003. Privacy is one of the issues in Social Networks Taking an example, Sharing photo is a common feature of many social network site allows users to upload their photos to share with friends or to public. Unfortunately, sometimes it is not a safe to share photo with others. Not only can photos be stolen and used by strangers, but many photos, especially those taken by phones or devices with GPS technology, contain tags that reveal their location. A blog is a personal online journal that is frequently updated and published on the World Wide Web. The blog post is appearing in chronological order and typically include such as comments, photos, and links. The topics include social issue, News or personal ongoing diary.  The wiki is a server application which allows users to add, modify or delete content .Wiki and aims to collect, organize, preserve, improve and spread collective knowledge.

Ddigital Divide in developing countries


 Information technology has improved the quality of life and simplifying daily work, however for those who doesn’t have access to information technology but rely on the old ways of working and can’t not obtain benefit through formation technology. This difference will cause polarization of society in more intense and the social wealth is more unevenly., Most developing countries (Africa,  Latin America and Southeast Asia)are still struggling to bridge the "digital divide" limiting access to computers and the Internet for low-income citizens.  In my paper I will focus on what are the main reasons cause digital divide such as economic growth, geography, infrastructure and education. Also in the paper I will talk about in what ways we can help to eliminate digital divide.
